Local Adventure Checklist

I am an adventurer to the core and I love the thrill of finding new and beautiful places. Here are a few (somewhat) local destinations I have my eye on for spring/summer 2016:

Coastal Maine Botanical GardensBoothbay, Maine
I have heard the Maine Botanical Gardens are stunning. I will most definitely pack my trusty camera and head up Route One to Boothbay for some time among the flowers.

The Crane Estate – Ipswich, Massachusetts
This estate looks breathtaking, surrounded by ocean and sprawling lawns. I have wanted to visit this property for quite some time and would love to roam the grounds and see what Crane has to offer.

Coppal House FarmLee, New Hampshire
This special farm hosts a Sunflower Festival each year in mid-August. Their fields seem to go for miles (6 acres, actually) and are filled with endless tall, bright flowers all reaching for the sun. A portion of admission is donated to a local charity, how awesome!

Brooklyn Bridge ParkBrooklyn, New York
This park has been in many a movie scene, creating an feverish desire for me to frolick where the stars have been. You can’t beat the view either – a massive cable bridge, the East River and an area rich with culture and history.

Fuller GardensNorth Hampton, New Hampshire
North Hampton sits snugly against the coastline nearest to my favorite beach. I have driven by the estate many times and have yet to enter the gardens. My love for flowers has reached an all time high and I know this location will not disappoint.
